SIGHTHOUND COLLARS also called Martingale Collars, in all lengths, and widths of 5/8 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch, 1-1/2 inch, and 2 inch. The safest and most commonly used collar for all Sighthounds is the "double-loop" safety collar, know in some parts of the USA as a "martingale" or "humane safety choke" collar. Quite simply, it is two loops -- the larger loop adjustable to the size of the dog's neck; the smaller loop, often referred to as the the handle, has a D-ring attached to it. When a leash is attached to the D-ring, the larger loop tightens around the dog's neck and prevents the dog sliding backward out of the collar. The restraint is firm and secure, but never pinches or gags the dog.

STANDARD SIDE-RELEASE COLLARS:  come in all lengths, and widths of 5/8 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch, and 1-1/2 inch.

The SINGLE LOOP: Mrs. Bones created the Single Loop specifically to bypass the need for a plastic closure on collars for tiny or very large dogs. This collar does not open in the traditional manner, but expands and contracts by using the brass slider. The collar is extended the full way, slipped over the dog's head, and then adjusted to fit the dog's neck comfortably. This style is especially useful for tiny dogs -- Italian Greyhounds, Chihuahuas, Chinese Crested Dogs, Maltese, Miniature Doberman, Pekingese, Shih Tzu and Yorkies.

On the other end of the size scale, Poodles, Airedales, Goldens, Vizsla, Doberman, and other large dogs with long necks have been able to wear 2-inch wide collars by using this style, which bypasses the 2-inch plastic closure. The 2-inch plastic closure is very bulky and uncomfortable.
